I’m having fun with Capcut.

I have been using this image for a while now because of a reason. Sometimes I discover things as I go that I didn’t realize when I wrote the story up. Like looking at it through a microscope, I realize things that didn’t make sense at the time make sense now. Some if you are wondering about the chess pieces, I’m being a little cryptic. The Rook, as you know, represents Virgil. If you know chess, the rook can be a very powerful ally or a destructive enemy coming out of nowhere. I often wonder about that, why not a pawn? If you’ve read the story thus far, you’ll understand why he is a Rook and not a Pawn. Why the Knights? Because both sides are thus. More will be revealed as the story goes. I know it’s a bit confusing now, but it will make sense, just like all the strange things in the book that don’t full make sense currently.
Anyway, I put the chess pieces in to give wonder to the story. That there is more to the story than just what is shown on the surface. Like my other story A Nightmare’s Point of View, a 20-sided die. It as many angles and is very 3-D. A Nightmare’s Point of View is more 20-sided than Shadow Side those. If you aren’t looking, it’s just a fun little story.
I hope to have Arroden’s Keep at Border Town Comic. March 15-16th in Ontario. I have bookmarks just for it! New artwork, free with purchase of a book!
Oh! fabulous News!

I am pairing up with Reko for an Online Shop!
So, it’s mainly a local shop that Nampa’s Farmers Market is paired with. A lot of it has local food stuffs but they will have quite a few other vendors there too, including me. I’ll be linking them onto my website here and they’ll be making sure that I will have a button for those who aren’t local that wish to contact me to purchase from me! I’m so excited about this. I’ve never had great luck doing online but maybe this will work! Here’s to an amazing beginning online.
A little update for The Dark Wood Forest – so far June will be its release date. I have about 54 illustrations so far to do. I will be doing them mainly as sketches from Virgil’s notebooks. Something fun. Update for the next books for A Nightmare’s Point of View – the third book is half way done. The hung up is… a specific character… I don’t want to spoil it so those who have read the book know what I mean by that. he is giving me grief. Once done, I should be able to fly through it. For the Reluctant Spider Queen, I’m going to work more on that in the summer for next year.
Anyway! That is all for now! Happy Reading!
