First of all HAPPY NEW YEAR 🎊! I hope everyone is starting the New year well.

I’m excited to announce that Shadow Side’s second book is coming out this year! We’re projecting February and so far I think we are doing pretty good for that month!😎

No cover yet but! I have a few illustrations that I haven’t revealed yet to social media so those who see this post are the first!

Like Christmas, the Blue Rose Festival is an amalgamation of beautiful beliefs and celebrations rolled into one and lasts roughly 7 – 8 days (depending on where you are 14)

Sometimes several weddings, proposals and birthdays are celebrated within the festival.

Ever wondered what the egg of the shadow elves looked like? Well here it is! Sadly the cracks aren’t well done enough to see but this is the color they are. A little recap here – Shadow elves in the world breed like spiders. Females produce a nest like material and lay their eggs in it. Anywhere up to 12 in a nest. The eggs start out but bigger than a large chicken egg and… Not sure how to describe it 🤔 the out shell is tough but soft like, as in rubbery like. You can’t crush it and it takes a paladin mystic to kill a nest. They can create a fire hot enough to roast a nest and kill it.

Anyway, the eggs are a metallic, emerald green with hairline cracks all over it. Those come in handy for the little ones inside to grow. By the time they are ready to hatch, the black cracks are bigger. Takes about a year before they hatch within the nest. They can’t survive without the nest material and will die without it.

They spend 3 years from egg to hatching in the nest, using the materials inside to grow and once they are done, emerge the size of a 3 year old. Ready and aware of their surroundings.

I’ve illustrated a part of one of the situations in the book and this is part of a 4 part section 😎

Now this illustration I’ve shown of to the socials. I feel pretty proud of it.

I call this one, A Paladin’s Urn.

A little back story – this is what they use for a paladin, whether mystic or warrior, when they die. They are dressed up respectfully and burned, placing the ashes in the urn.

Anyway, I’m excited to see this book out soon. I’ll keep you all updated.

Oh! I’m also working on a shop here. It’s slower than expected. Sorry about that.

I’m also working on the 3rd book for A Nightmare’s Point of View called – Vortex of Tormented Ambivalent.

This won’t be out for a while. My goal is 2026 for this. I’m a over half done. Not sure if I’ll have illustrations. I may do more of the universal guide like I did in The Crystal Prison. There are so many more species. I also have a medical guide Auwssya gave me and haven’t decided if I want to release it. There is a lot of stuff for the third one that I’m still putting together. There is so much information I’ve got that I would love to publish.

Also I’m working on a stand alone book

I’ve got the prologue and part of the first chapter done. This was a fun dream that I’m excited to publish. Not sure if it will have illustrations. Maybe one.

I’ve been thinking also about doing a live reading for a few chapters for A Nightmare’s Point of View either on Twitch or YouTube and see what people think about it. I would love to do an Audible for A Nightmare’s Point of View but it would be cheaper if I do it. Just got to get it up and running though.

For future events!

Lots! I want to do Nampa’s Farmers market, Border Town, Ren Fair, Beltane, Sumpter Ren Fair, Goddess festival, Nampa’s Festival of the Arts. Maybe some author events with other authors (super fun hanging out with other authors) so many more!

I’m going to have new earrings and jewelry – mug designs – new teas – herb seasonings – possibly tshirts and market bags – mystery bags

My mom will be creating new potato types and more!

There is so much going on this 2025.
