Renaissance Fair was a hit! The coordinators said there were roughly 10,000 people who attended. Roughly because they didn’t count anyone eight or under. They didn’t charge for them.

It was a blast!

The following days that led up to it was stressful. I wanted everything to be perfect and have everything together. I worried about if I would sell anything or if anyone would buy my books. I ended up selling 12 books! 2 A Nightmare’s Point of View and 10 of Shadow Side. I had a feeling that Shadow Side would sell well but as an artist, I’m my worst enemy. I didn’t think I would sell this much! I was happy to sell my artwork as well! Lots of people bought the jewelry I brought. All of it really helps. The jewelry is my physical therapy for my neuronopathy. Making it for so long, only my fingertips are numb. I can grip things better too! Plus, anything I earn goes to help publish my books.

As you can see, I dressed as Rosey again and Corey (my youngest son) dressed as Virgil. First day was hard because the metal parts of the armor were heavy and he wasn’t used to cosplaying. By the second day, he was much better at it. The cloak kept coming off so I’ll need to find better fasteners. Maybe I can do snaps under or something. All in all it was great and people loved our costumes. Perfect weather too!

We got to meet Stan TheSkeleton. I love this! He has his own Facebook page!

Also Batman was there! lol. Everyone was having fun!

I wish I could have gotten more pictures to share but it was so busy, I could hardly get away. Again, it was so busy!

Anyway, that was pretty fun and I’m going to do it again next year!

My next event will be after my move (October 11) The Harry Potter Festival – October 21.

I want to do more but with the move and my health, I have to hold off. besides that, I need to finish all my illustrations for The Crystal Prison. I haven’t gotten any more updates for it but hopefully soon.
