YAY! It’s looking better! There are a few changes that need to be made but it’s looking better! I’m so excited to see the changes. I’m still working on the illustrations and getting closer to being done. They won’t be in color, but I may just shade them to give them depth. Anyway, what do you think? Looking better?

Here are a few of the illustrations I’m working on for the book’s glossary. They still need to be cleaned up.

Update for the Ren Faire costume for my son as Virgil. My mom and I finished his cape, and it looks amazing. Got him a sword and fixed it up. It’s a plastic one and I didn’t like the color and spraypainted it to look different. All that is needed now is the pants and the design on the front.

This is the cape we made. I cut out the pattern and my mom sewed it together. Not bad for a bed sheet, lol. The light gray material is to be the paladin tunic once I finish with it. OH! meet one of my sons, Corey. He is my third son and loves Shadow Side. I am thrilled to have him dressing up as Virgil for the Ren Faire. Oh, and to clarify, when I read the story to my children, I skipped the mushy parts, so they don’t know anything about the romance. Just the fun parts and the dilemma that Virgil went through. I wanted to let people know that so they wouldn’t freak out because there is one major part in the very back of the book that is considered adult themed. At least to me it is. I’m a bit of a prude but to each their own. I leave it up to those to judge.

Here is the sword I dolled up. I spray painted it and wrapped the handle in some leather to make it look nicer. Corey really likes it and I have to keep taking it away because he wants to play with it, lol.

Also, it’s getting closer to the move date for me, but I’ll try to update more when things come alone. I’ll also so off my costume later.
