It’s been awhile since I’ve shared. My dad passed peacefully and I’ve been feeling quiet. Death has a way of diving deep into you where you didn’t know you had corners that you hadn’t visited in a long time. I’m okay and still working through things.

Time stops for nothing!

June has been busy. We had our wall raising party and my kids got to be involved. They got to put some of the walls together. The boys got to use a nail gun. I have to admit that this is the first gun I’ve ever used. Wow what an experience! It has a kick and now I don’t have a fear of a gun as I used to. (My dad used to take me to a range and the noise was terrifying but I respect the weapon and knowledge that came with it).

Anyway, it was a thrill! So many came out to help us. So many volunteers and I want to thank them all. Everyone who came out to make this a special day for us.

I also got work that October 11th is when we get the keys!

On the book side of things. Just getting back into the illustrations. I was able to find my work in the boxes and started scanning and fixing the planets. I can’t wait to color them in and show them off!

What I can see is that The Crystal Prison is going to be almost as big as A Nightmare’s Point of View but only because of the back of the book with the glossary.

So excited!
